* Tortoise Switch Machine
* 1 Piece Flex Track, your gauge, 24” minimum
* 3 Pieces Snap Track and 1 Turnout (Atlas preferred, match code on both)
* Soldering iron and resin core solder
* Needle Nose Pliers
* NMRA Gauge for your Scale
* At least 2 (prefer 3) 3-point gauges for hand track laying
* Engine for conversion—must be DCC ready
* Matched decoder for the engine you bring
* Kadee Coupler Height Gauge
* General Purpose 8” Handy File from Lowe’s (Nicholson brand, product #06601)
* Freight Car to work on
* Kadee Couplers to fit the Car you are bringing
* Car Weights—A-Line brand, Walther’s Product #116-13000, 1/2” X 1/2” X 3/16”, 1 pkg.
* Scale Ruler for your Scale
* X-Acto knife with #11 blades
* Small Phillips and Straight Screwdrivers
* Hammer
* Slip Joint Pliers at least 6” long
